Fresh, bright, and invigorating, limelight combines the sunny brilliance of Bismuth Yellow with the cool turquoise energy of a brilliant Phthalocyanine.

Limelight is a semi-transparent watercolor finely ground to highlight the brilliance of the color and increase its transparency. When applied in thin washes, it becomes highly transparent and is great for glazing bright almost florescent shades of lime and yellow.  The result is a sparkling citrus green that feels like a bright Sunray is shining on you.

It shines in botanical paintings, tropical landscapes, and anywhere a burst of vibrant freshness is needed.

In my opinion, this color should be a staple in every botanical palette as there is nothing more brilliant and yet lightfast in nature.
